Gujarat Titans Beat Mumbai Indians to Reach Second Straight IPL Final



  • Gujarat Titans defeated Mumbai Indians by 62 runs in Qualifier 2 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) on Friday to reach their second straight final.
  • Shubman Gill scored 129 off 60 balls to help Gujarat post a total of 233 for 3. Mohit Sharma took a five-wicket haul as Mumbai were bowled out for 171 in 19.4 overs.
  • With the win, Gujarat will now face Chennai Super Kings in the final on Sunday.
  • Gill was in sublime form as he smashed 10 sixes and seven fours in his innings. He was well supported by David Miller (45) and Rahul Tewatia (35 not out).
  • Mumbai's bowlers struggled to contain Gujarat's batsmen on a good batting track. Sharma was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 5 for 27.
